Revealed by Vasco, the midfielder was fundamental for the return to the elite of Brazilian football. In Serie B, there were 31 games, with eight goals. Due to his performance, the athlete was asked to defend the Brazilian National Team in the South American sub-20.
One of the highlights of Brazil’s title campaign, Andrey Santos entered the field for eight opportunities and scored eight times. With that, together with the performance in Brazilian football, Chelsea disbursed.
Due to the Brazilian not having achieved the necessary score to obtain a work visa in the Premier League, the English club sought to loan the player. One of those interested was Palmeiras, but the negotiation did not advance after Verdão did not accept the conditions of the English: loan until June and that the athlete competes in the under-20 World Cup.
With that, Vasco entered the negotiation and, soon after, agreed with Andrey and Chelsea. Now, the Cruz-Maltino tries to regularize the midfielder so that he can reinforce Barbieri’s men in the classic against Flamengo, for the Carioca Championship.
