Frickson Erazo had his farewell to football in a match held in Esmeraldas between Barcelona SC and Friends of ‘Elegant’

The Emerald defender Frickson erazo, 33, said goodbye to professional football and did it in front of his audience and the team of Barcelona Sporting Club. The Elegant, as the defender is known, he played a time in each team.

For Estupiñán, Erazo was still able to continue playing. “At 33 he was able to continue acting, but I think he retired in time is according to the circumstances due to their physical condition in front of young people, and it is a wise decision ”.

Regarding the teaching that Erazo leaves to the new generations, Estupiñán indicates: “The young people who today dedicate themselves to soccer must understand that in a period of 15 to 18 years the degree is completed, and a footballer, if he does not take advantage of the moments of fame or well-being that his sports career gives him, the remaining days will be of failure ”.

What does Esmeraldas or Ecuador lose with the retirement of Erazo? Estupiñán emphasizes that “the opportunity for a titular player of the Ecuadorian national team, born in Esmeraldas, stay in the sports arena, but at the same time it leaves an example for those who come, so that they try to overcome the sporting trajectory that this great defender had ”.
