Allegri confirms Pogba in the Italian Championship derby, but preaches caution in re-debut

In a press conference this Monday, coach Massimiliano Allegri confirmed the presence of midfielder Paul Pogba among those listed for the duel against Torino, which will be played this Tuesday, starting at 4:45 pm (Brasília time).

“Pogba is improving, he will be called up for tomorrow. We still have to assess whether he will have the opportunity to play a few minutes against Torino,” said the Italian coach.

Hired this season, Pogba has yet to officially re-debut for Juventus. Knee and meniscus injuries have taken the Frenchman out of all games this season, except for the match against Monza, in which Pogba has not left the bench.

“He doesn’t have a lot of pace, but more than enough. He needs to understand that we are at an important moment in the season. He needs to have the willpower to make his contribution in this final stretch”, declared Allegri.

Pogba has won Serie A four times with Juventus, all in his first spell at the club. After ending your relationship with the Manchester Unitedthe midfielder returned to the Italian club free of charge.

Juventus is ranked eighth in the Italian Championship, with 32 points.
