Surne Bilbao sign the Greek Tsalmpouris to relieve the injured Withey

He Surne Bilbao Basket has signed the Greek international center Georgios Tsalmpouris until the end of this season to alleviate the absence of center Jeff Withey, who will be out between six and eight weeks due to an injury to his left foot.
Tsalmpouris (26 years old) started the season at the Real Betis Basketballwith whom he played 16 matches averaging 8.8 points and 2.9 rebounds with 40.4% shooting three points in 18 minutes of play.
The interior has completed some outstanding performances in its first foray into the Endesa League, such as the 24 points achieved before the saucepan baskonia or the 14 points and 11 rebounds who signed in front of casademont Saragossa.
In his native country, the new Surne Bilbao player has worn the shirt of AEK of Athens, Kolossos h Hotels, Paok and Apollon Patrasachieving with the latter 14.9 points and 5.6 rebounds in the 2021-2022 season.
