TASS: Roman Kostomarov is gradually coming out of drug sleep
It became known about the change in the state of the Olympic champion in ice dancing Roman Kostomarov. This was reported by TASS, citing a source familiar with the situation.
“After problems with spasms of cerebral vessels, Roman gradually comes to his senses, comes out of drug sleep. His performance is stable, without deterioration, ”the source said. He added that it is too early to draw conclusions about the health of the athlete.
On February 23, information appeared that doctors were not ready to bring Kostomarov out of an artificial coma. “The edema has moved to the head, so far they are afraid to remove it from drug sleep. On February 20, the SHOT Telegram channel reported that a quarter of Kostomarov’s brain was affected due to hemorrhage and hematoma in the frontal lobe. Later, doctors said that there was no severe cerebral edema.
