Afterwards, Diogo Jota picked up the ball and kicked, but the goalkeeper managed to save the ball in two halves. Continuing the pressure, the Portuguese stamped the post. In response, Marc Guéhi headed in and almost opened the scoring for Crystal Palace.
A short time later, Olise kicked, the ball deflected and went close to the goal. In the end, in yet another defensive blunder by Liverpool, Jean-Philippe Mateta hit the crossbar.
As in the first stage, the match was busy. Salah dropped a left leg bomb and the ball hit the crossbar. In the sequence, Alexander Arnold kicked without an angle and the goalkeeper spread it out. Afterwards, the ball fell to Matip, who finished, but the goalkeeper made a good save.
Until the end of the match, Liverpool fought to open the scoring. The number 11 made a good move and served for Gakpo, who wasted the opportunity to score.
