Russian forward “Washington Capitals” Evgeny Kuznetsov started a fight in the match of the National Hockey League (NHL) against the “New York Rangers”. This is reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”.
The incident happened in the second period. Kuznetsov got into a fight with the Czech Rangers forward Filip Chytil, they had to be separated by the judges and other athletes, including Washington captain Alexander Ovechkin.
The Russian avoided removal until the end of the game: as a result of the brawl, both hockey players received two minutes of penalty. At the same time, in the first period, Kuznetsov had already received a penalty for a foul on Khitil.
