Former Brazilian striker Sonny Anderson will be the new sporting adviser of the Lyonannounced this Wednesday the French club.
Anderson, 52, played for the team between 1999 and 2003, during which time he won the French Championship twice (2002 and 2003) and the League Cup once (2001).

The Brazilian recently worked as a commentator on the channel LegInsportbut also as a sports advisor for Lyon-La DuchΓ¨re, a club associated with Lyon, which plays in France’s fourth division.
As a player, Sonny Anderson played for Vasco (1988-1991) and Guarani (1992) in Brazil before starting his journey across Europe, where he played for clubs such as Olympique de Marseille (1993-1994), Monaco (1994-1997) and Barcelona (1997-1999), until he was signed by Lyon.
After leaving France, he pursued a career at Villarreal (2003-2004), at Al-Rayyan (2004-2005) and retired at Al-Gharaffa (2005-2006), the last two in Qatar.
