Torino stumbles and draws with Cremonese for the Italian Championship

This Monday, the Torino received the Cremonese flashlight and drew 2-2 at the end of the 23rd round of the Italian Championship. Antonio Sanabria and Wilfried Singo scored for the home team and Frank Tsadjout and Emanuele Valeri scored for the visitors in the second half.

With the result, Torino loses the chance to enter the G6. Currently, the team is ninth in the Italian Championship, with 31 points. If they won, they would jump to sixth place and be eight points away from a place in the Conference League.

Cremonese, on the other hand, is in 20th and last place, with nine points, and has yet to win its first match after 23 games in the national tournament.

Torino’s next match for the Italian is against Juventus, at home, on February 28, at 4:45 pm (Brasília time). Meanwhile, Cremonese will host Roma, also on the 28th, at 2:30 pm.

The match started with Torino dominating possession of the ball, but creating few chances. In the 41st minute of the first half, on a penalty kick, Antonio Sanabria put the home team ahead on the scoreboard.

Nine minutes into the second half, Frank Tsadjout equalized for Cremonese and, at 29 minutes, Emanuele Valeri turned the game around. Five minutes later, however, Wilfried Singo equalized the score again and scored what would be the last goal of the duel.
