Roma controlled the opening stage, but only managed to open the scoring in the final stretch, minutes before the break. In the 46th minute, Spinazzola gave a beautiful back-heel pass to Solbakken, who finished cross and put the home team in advantage.
In the second half, Hellas Verona tried to get more into the game, but they didn’t scare the opponent’s goal.
