On January 17, the head of the chemical company Ineos, British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe, expressed his willingness to buy Manchester United. Ratcliffe was the first to formally register his interest with the bank handling the process of selling the team. It is noted that bidding among applicants should begin in February.
