Fitness expert advised stretching exercises to warm up while working at the computer
Fitness expert Alicia Ungaro talked about warming up for the body after a long work at the computer. Her words leads Shape.
Ungaro advised doing a reverse plank. To do this, you need to sit on the mat, stretch your legs forward and rest your hands on the floor. “Raise your hips high, keeping your feet together. Hold for 5 breaths or 10 seconds. Lower your hips to the floor and repeat two more times,” she explained.
The second exercise is lunges with stretching 3-5 times on each side. The specialist added that after transferring the weight to the front leg, you need to linger in the lunge position for 10 seconds to achieve the best effect.
Heel squats will also help stretch your leg muscles. “Kneel on the mat, place your feet under your buttocks, pressing on the balls of your toes. Stretch your feet for 30 seconds, then relax,” Ungaro explained. It takes two minutes to complete the exercise.
Earlier, fitness expert Jay Cardiello spoke about the rules for returning to training after a long break. The specialist suggested starting with yoga or stretching and flexibility exercises twice a week.
