Euskaraz irakurri: Pello Bilbao izango da Bahrain taldeko leads UAE Tourrean

Pello Bilbao will be the leader of Bahrain – Victorious in the 5th edition of the UAE Tour that will be disputed from February 20 to 26where he will be supported by a team that will seek a place on the podium for the Basque cyclist.

The one from Gernika returns to the UAE Tour after the third place achieved in 2022 and after achieving this year a position in the podium in the Tour Down Under and the fourth place in the Return to the Valencian Community.

Departing from Al Dhafra Castle on February 20, the cyclists will face a total of 1028 km of racing in seven stages. Like previous editions, the race will have four stages suitable for sprinters and two top finishes to shake up the overall.

The main difference this year is stage 2, which features a 17.2km team time trial at Khalifa Port.

Sporting director Neil Stephens believes the team is made up of a good mix to be competitive on all seven stages.

Oier Lazkano will also be in the UAE

the vitoriano Oier Lazkano will participate with Movistar in the UAE Tour and, together with his teammate Oscar Rodríguez, he will try to make Einer Rubio fight in the two high goals of the tour.
