This Thursday, at the Allianz Stadium, Juventus and Nantes drew 1-1, in a first leg for the second phase of the Europa League. The home team took the lead in the initial stage, but suffered a draw in the second half.
The teams face each other again to decide the place in the round of 16 next Thursday, February 23, at 2:45 pm (Brasília time).
Before, however, Juventus returns to the field on Sunday, against Spezia, away from home, for the 23rd round of the Italian Championship, at 2 pm. Nantes, on the other hand, will face Lens, on the same day, at 1:05 pm, at the Félix-Bollaert Stadium, for the 24th round of the French Championship.

The game
Juve started the match well and opened the scoring in the 13th minute of the first half. Chiesa found a good pass to Vlahovic, who went in front of the goal and scored. Shortly after, Di Maria almost made the second, from a distance, but Lafont came out well to make the save. On the other side, Nantes even tried to provoke danger. However, it was unsuccessful in definitions.
After a good first half by Allegri’s team, Juve conceded a tie at 15 of the final stage. Bremer failed to make the cut, Nantes went on a speedy counterattack, Blas received it from Mohamed, invaded the area and released the blow, with no chance for Szczesny.
The home team then reacted to regain the advantage. Chiesa received it from Vlahovic in the area and finished strong. The ball hit the crossbar, dripped and hit the post, but did not enter. At 27, Moutoussamy took a risk from afar, out. Juve had expected to score one more, after reviewing a possible penalty, but nothing was scored.
