Fitness expert advises doing yoga to get back to training after a break

The specialist suggested starting with yoga or stretching and flexibility exercises twice a week. “Then, depending on your schedule, try to include some light cardio,” Cardiello said.
The trainer noted that intense loads can be gradually introduced a week after the start of cardio. “Consider exercises to improve posture, develop core strength, activate the gluteal muscles and hamstrings,” the specialist added. He explained that at the initial stage, squats, lunges, plank and fitball exercises are suitable.
Earlier, the director of the fitness club, Eva Peña, spoke about the benefits of exercising barefoot. She noted that exercising without shoes helps to increase the stability of the legs and body, as well as improve coordination.
