This Saturday, coach Fábio Carille’s V-Varen Nagasaki starts its journey in this season’s J-League 2 against JEF United. At the club since last year, the Brazilian coach, who arrived with just one round to play in the last edition of the league, projects the fight for access to the first division.
“The expectation is very good, the preparation here for the season was very well done, the work we did these days showed that we are prepared. The club’s biggest dream is access to the first division” began Carille.
“We have evolved a lot. Some players arrived, we were also able to maintain a base of what we were already working on last season. Now the projection is power, starting from the first round, fighting for the top positions throughout the competition. Grow up at the right time and get there among the first in the last 10 rounds, which I usually say is where everything is defined”, he added.
With two trips to Saudi Arabia, in addition to clubs in Brazil, Fábio Carille also spoke of adapting to life in Japan, with different culture and customs. Working in the Asian country has always been one of the commander’s goals.
“I am very happy here, the country is very nice to live in, there is respect and recognition everywhere you go. I always made it clear that it was a goal and a dream to work and live here. The club welcomed me and also treated my coaching staff well. I feel privileged to be here and with so much support”, he concluded.
