At the beginning of February, the trial of Robert Lewandowski and Cezary Kucharski began. The former agent allegedly threatened the footballer that he would reveal information about his alleged tax evasion. He expected as much as 20 million euros for his silence. The captain of the Polish national team accused Kucharski of blackmail and presented a recording of their conversation in which the aforementioned threats were to be made.
Cezary Kucharski recalled the circumstances in which Lewandowski’s recordings were made. “It’s been 5 years…”
The trial is pending before the District Court for Warszawa-Śródmieście. which is one of the main pieces of evidence in the case. According to Sport.pl findings, this is the same plant that dealt with the “black boxes” of the presidential Tupolev, which crashed on April 10, 2010 in Smolensk. The analysis is expected to be ready by the end of June.
Lewandowski’s former manager, despite the trial, publicly referred to these recordings. On Sunday, he reminded on Twitter about a certain anniversary related to them. – It’s been 5 years since R. Lewandowski recorded a conversation without my knowledge (February 12). In October 2020, more than 2.5 years later, he added the recording to the report on me to Prosecutor Święczkowski. Back then, we hadn’t worked together for 1 year, but we talked. 5 days later he sent birthday wishes – wrote Kucharski.
As proof of the truth of the last sentences, Kucharski attached a screen from one of the communicators. It shows that the wishes were sent on February 17, 2018.

The trial, at the request of Lewandowski, is classified. Kucharski’s website was in favor of its openness. By decision of the court, the issue of playing the tapes on which the alleged blackmail is recorded will be open.
