The Polish woman showed power. Demolition in the deciding set

Magdalena Frch (104th), however, did not have it so easy throughout Saturday’s duel. Despite the great start of the match (2:0) and then leading 4:3, she lost the first set to Diane Perry (110th WTA) from France. Since that second moment, she has lost three games in a row, including two by advantage.

Demolka Fręch in the deciding set

The Polish woman started the second set badly (0:2). However, she quickly made up for the losses and won as many as five games in a row. Then she didn’t use two sets for her opponent’s service, but eventually won 6:3.

In the decisive set, Magdalena Fręch dominated and completely smashed her rival. She has not lost any game. Interestingly, however, four out of six games were played to the advantage. For the Polish tennis player, this is the fourth win with Parry. Previously, she was better than her in tournaments of a lower rank in Prague, Saint Malo, Paris.

Now Magdalena Fręch can face a much more difficult task. In the semi-finals of the qualifications, the Polish woman will face the Belgian Elise Mertens (32nd WTA). If he defeats her, he will face the better of the couple: Jil Teichmann (Switzerland, 28th WTA) – Elena Gabriela Ruse (Romania, 148th WTA) in the decisive match for promotion to the main draw.

Iga Witek, who won this event last year, will perform in Doha.
