Sergio Aguero may be forced to interrupt his career. The Barcelona forward is at risk of ending his career in football because of the heart problems he has been facing.
According to Radio Catalonia, Aguero’s diagnosis for being more serious than was initially revealed. According to the Spanish vehicle, the exams that the athlete underwent in recent days would have shown that his pathology is incompatible with the practice of sports.
For now, Barcelona has not published anything official. The 33-year-old was forced to withdraw from the match against Alavés, on October 30, after feeling a discomfort in his chest. He underwent cardiac exams and the club ordered a three-month leave.
“Player Kun Aguero underwent a diagnostic and therapeutic procedure under the responsibility of Dr. Josep Brugada. He will be away for the next three months, being re-evaluated to know the effectiveness of the treatment that will be used to determine his recovery process”, published the club.
The Argentine was signed by Barcelona in the last transfer window and signed a contract valid for two seasons, after having ended his relationship with Manchester City.
