After beating Al Ahly in the semifinal by 4-1, Carlo Ancelotti’s team beat Al-Hilal by 5-3, at the Alo Stadium Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, in Rabat, Morocco, to keep the cup.
The Uruguayan Valverde, also from Real Madrid, was in second place among the best of the tournament, while Vietto, from Al-Hilal, was in third place.
Striker Pedro, from Flamengo, was the top scorer in the Club World Cup, with four goals scored. He scored twice against the Saudis, in the semifinals, and two more in the dispute for third place, against Al Ahly.
Real Madrid’s next match is against Elche, for the Spanish Championship, on Wednesday, at 5 pm (Brasília time), at the Santiago Bernabéu.
