The first league matches after the winter break took place on Friday. On that day at 18:00 in Nowy Sącz, the local Sandecja faced Górnik Łęczna. The hosts hoped that after this meeting they would be able to leave the relegation zone.

The team from Nowy Sącz started the meeting in a better style. They took the lead in the 28th minute after a beautiful goal by Tomasz Boczek. Near the penalty area, the defender intercepted the ball, which began to bounce off the turf. Bacon without thinking decided to hit when she was in the air and lobbed the goalkeeper. After a while, the player enjoyed the goal scored together with his teammates. “The first league is back and immediately with a bang” – wrote Polsat Sport.

Ten minutes later Sandecja scored another goal. This time Kamil Slaby entered the list of shooters. In the second half, the hosts attacked the rivals’ goal more often and it again brought the expected effect. In the 70th minute, Jakub Wróbel increased the lead. It was the last goal in this match and eventually Sandecja defeated Górnik Łęczna 3:0.

Thanks to this victory, Sandecja moved up to 14th place in the table. After 19 rounds, he has 17 points, two more than Chojniczanka, who opens the relegation zone. Górnik Łęczna, in turn, is ranked 13th with 19 points.
