There are preliminary results of Mateusz Murañski’s autopsy. We know the cause of death

We’re done with the autopsy. The expert immediately after the autopsy pointed out that the direct cause of death was acute circulatory and respiratory failure, Grażyna Wawryniuk, spokeswoman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Gdańsk, told RMF FM and Interia. More tests will be needed to determine what caused the failure.

The expert’s quick assessment is only the preliminary results of the autopsy of the actor and participant of freak MMA galas. The prosecutor’s office needs more information to provide appropriate research.

– The next question, what was the cause of this acute failure, will be answered by further histopathological and toxicological studies. So, at this stage, we have a preliminary indication of what was the cause of death. Further work will explain what caused it – admitted Wawryniuk.

Mateusz Murański died on February 8. He was found dead in his apartment by a family member who had not been able to contact him earlier. The police and the prosecutor’s office immediately ruled out the involvement of third parties.

He played in the Puls TV series “Lombard. Life under collateral”, which received the Telekamera “Tele Tygodnia” award three times. He also got a role in Jerzy Skolimowski’s Oscar-nominated film IO. He took part in freak fights in the MMA formula at the Fame MMA and High League galas. He was only 29 years old.
