With Algerian goals, Nice defeats Ajaccio in the French Championship

The 23rd round of French Championship started this Friday and the Nice defeated Ajaccio 3-0 at Allianz Riviera. The hosts relied on goals from Dante and Bilal Brahimi to secure their fourth consecutive win in the competition.

Nice reached 37 points and took seventh place. By the end of the round, however, it could lose its place to Lorient again. The team’s next match will be next Saturday, the 18th, at 1pm (Brasília time), against Reims, again at the Allianz Riviera.

Ajaccio is still in a delicate situation in Ligue 1, in 18th place with 18 points. The team, which has won only one of its last seven games, returns to the field on Sunday, at 11 am, to face Lorient, away from home.

The game

The first goal of the match came after just 3 minutes of the ball rolling. After a rehearsed play for a corner kick from the left, the ball was crossed by the area and reached defender Dante. The former player of Brazilian Team took first with the left foot and rocked the nets. The goalkeeper even deflected before the ball entered.

Nice scored again in the second half, when they scored twice. At 23, Brahimi received it at the entrance to the area and took the first chance from there. The Algerian took the ball very well and hit a beautiful shot placed in the drawer of the Ajaccio goal.

Brahimi closed the scoring at 45 minutes. The attacker received the ball in the corner of the penalty area and, once again, landed a perfect finish. The player hit placed in the top left corner to extend Nice’s advantage.
