And he remarked: “In the last FEF congress, where the board of directors was illegitimately re-elected, in my point of view, he did not reveal what he did with that money and why he had not paid the teams; to this is added that he lied on other issues such as the debt with Professor Gustavo Alfaro, who indicated that it was $200,000 and that we later found out that it was more than $2 million.

“The only leader who, at least, responds in the FEF is Carlos Manzur and he has said that they are waiting for FIFA to pay in full for Ecuador’s participation in the World Cup, so I say: What does that have to do with the Ecuador Cup? . That money is for the players and coaching staff who competed in Qatar. This is like a father of a family receiving his salary and spending the money for his children’s school fees to go out drinking with his friends. That is irresponsible,” he added.

A problem for the Octobers, because with the income of these resources it was expected to complete the budget to assemble the squad with which they will face series B this season.
