Brazilian soccer player Alves admits having sex with alleged rape victim
Brazilian footballer Dani Alves has testified in a rape case. Marca reports.
According to the source, the 39-year-old athlete admitted to having sexual intercourse with the alleged victim. At the same time, Alves insists that the agreement was mutual, and there was no act of violence on his part.
Alves was arrested on January 20. The alleged victim of the football player reported that he locked her in the bathroom of a nightclub, where he beat and raped her. Doctors confirmed that the girl had injuries indicating resistance. Alves faces four to 12 years in prison.
