Baskonia suffers a bulky defeat against Barça

Bitci Baskonia lost 93-67 against FC Barcelona the party corresponding to the ninth day from Euroleague. The Catalan team did not give the Basque team options. It is the fourth loss in a row of the Baskonians in this competition.

Baskonia entered the game well, achieving advantages of four points (0-4 and 2-6). However, Barça reacted quickly and tied the match (8-8 and 10-10). From that moment, the local team was superior and opened a gap of 18 points on the scoreboard (28-10). Baskonia managed to cut their rival’s excellent run (28-14), but even so, Barcelona ended the first quarter with a favorable score of 32-15.

In the second quarter the Basque team was not able to improve and Barça continued to dominate the match with increasing clarity. Bitci Baskonia were unable to stop their opponent’s attacks and had a hard time scoring. In this way, FC Barcelona went to rest with a 24-point advantage (55-31).
