Artem Dziuba said he was happy with the transition to Moscow Lokomotiv
Forward Artem Dzyuba commented on the transition to the Moscow Lokomotiv. The athlete spoke on Instagram (the social network is banned in the Russian Federation; belongs to the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in Russia and banned).
“Thanks to the management of Lokomotiv for the trust! To everyone who helped and worried – also a huge thank you! Insanely happy and I will try not to let you down! the forward said. He added that he was happy to return to the Russian Premier League.
Earlier on Wednesday, February 8, it became known that Dziuba signed a contract with the team. It was reported that the agreement was calculated until the end of the 2022/2023 season. The 34-year-old football player will earn 2.5 million rubles a month.
Dziuba’s last club was the Turkish Adana Demirspor, for which the football player played from August to November 2022. As part of the team, he played five matches in which he scored one goal. The Russian decided to terminate the contract with the team, as he did not receive enough playing time.
Dzyuba is a four-time champion of Russia in the St. Petersburg “Zenith”. Together with the Russian national team, the striker reached the quarterfinals of the 2018 World Cup.
