The Russian champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Islam Makhachev spoke about the upcoming fight with the Australian mixed martial artist (MMA) Alexander Volkanovski. His words are quoted by the MMA Junkie YouTube channel.
“I will fight for something new – the right to be called the best fighter in the world, regardless of weight categories. I think it’s the best. It’s not just protection. For me, this is a new title, the number one title, ”said the athlete.
