On Tuesday Barcelona SC defeated Mushuc Runa 3-2 in a friendly duel for the ‘Afternoon of Ponchito, where those from Tungurahua presented their 2023 squad.

But the main novelty of the party was the performance of the Astillero club on the stage located in the town of Echaleche, an aspiration of Luis Alfonso Chango, president for life of the indigenous squad.
Due to the fact that the stadium does not have artificial lighting, due to official LigaPro duels, Mushuc Runa has not been able to be home to teams like bullfighters and Emelec.
