First, he appeared as a guest in the series “Na Wspólnej” (2003), “Ojciec Mateusz” (2008), “Commissioner Alex” (2011), and “Krucjata” (2022). From 2017 to 2020, he regularly appeared in the series “Lombard. Life under pawn”.

Mateusz Murański also starred in three films. The first of them was “Asymmetry”, which premiered in 2020. A year later, he was in the cast of “Other People”, and the greatest publicity was given to him by his role in the 2022 film “IO”. The 29-year-old played the role of a hooligan in it. Jerzy Skolimowski’s work was even nominated for this year’s Oscars (ceremony on March 12) in the “Best International Film” category. It will compete for the win with such productions as: “Same in the West”, “Argentina 1985”, “Close” and “The Quiet Girl”.
