The realtor gave unexpected advice on how to quickly sell an apartment

Fresh paintwork may lead the buyer to the idea that the owner is trying to hide traces of leaks. “It’s better to give a buyer a discount of 20 thousand so that he paints it himself,” Konoplev is sure.

Also, the specialist does not advise to clean the ventilation grids to a shine. “Yes, it will look untidy and sloppy, but it will immediately become clear: the ventilation works, the air is drawn, and therefore the dust settles on the grates,” the specialist points out.

In addition, the realtor advises paying attention to the condition of the sewer wiring, since it is the technical hatch in the bathroom that becomes the object of close study, as well as to the electrical panel, if it is located in the apartment – to the condition of the machines, the signatures under them, the presence of an electrical wiring diagram, etc.

The realtor also gave advice to buyers. He, in particular, drew attention to the fact that after inspecting the apartment, it is worth walking up the stairs in the entrance – from the first to the last floor. At this time, you need to pay attention to the smell of dampness or cigarettes, take a closer look at the order on the sites. All this will help to conclude how well the house in which you are going to buy an apartment is.
