The starting lineup of the Russian national team for the match against Cyprus has been announced

The coaching staff of the Russian national football team has decided on the starting lineup for the 2022 World Cup qualifying match against Cyprus. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the national team.

Matvey Safonov will play at the goal from the first minutes. The national team will be defended by Alexey Sutormin, Igor Diveev, Maxim Osipenko and Sergey Terekhov. In midfield, Alexander Erokhin, Daniil Fomin, Andrey Mostovoy, Alexander Golovin and Alexey Miranchuk will play. At the forefront is Fedor Smolov.

The captain of the national team in the match against Cyprus will be Golovin. The meeting will start at 20:00 Moscow time. The game will take place in St. Petersburg.

The final match of the 2022 World Cup qualifier will take place on 14 November. In it, the Russian national team will play against Croatia. Two rounds before the end of the qualification, the Russians are in first place in the standings, ahead of Croatia by two points.
