CSKA coach Fedotov said he could not cope with the nerves during the derby with Spartak
The head coach of CSKA Moscow Vladimir Fedotov called the cause of the conflict with the mentor of Spartak Guillermo Abascal after the match of the 13th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). His words are quoted by Sport24.
“Spartak is a people’s team, there are many media representatives for it. There were misunderstandings. Two adult uncles did not cope with the nervous system a little – this is concomitant, ”said Fedotov. He stressed that he does not regret what happened, as the fans should have liked it.
On October 18, after the derby between CSKA and Spartak, a video appeared on the network in which Fedotov obscenely insults Abaskal during a break. Prior to this, Abascal said that he approached Fedotov and pointed out to him that Spartak was demonstrating fair play.
The meeting ended with the score 2:2. The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union suspended Abaskal for one match, and Fedotov for a match and one more match conditionally.
