The European teams will play on matchday 9, while those from South America will play on matchday 13.

This Thursday a new day of the qualifying process for the Qatar 2022 World Cup will begin, in which the European teams will play on matchday 9 and the South American teams on date 13.

On Europe will have active the teams of group A, B, H and J, where several countries play their direct qualification to the World Cup.

Case is that of Portugal, who will visit Ireland in zone A, starting at 2:45 p.m.. Cristiano Ronaldo’s team is second and needs to win to overtake Serbia in the table, leader of the group, and depend on themselves to qualify directly to Qatar 2022.

Spain is going through the same situation in group B. La Roja is second in the area and is obliged to win as a visitor to Greece, to arrive with options to qualify directly for the World Cup on the last date, when they face Sweden, leader of the area.

This is the standings of all the qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup before the start of the FIFA date in November

Already in group H, Russia will host Cyprus and Croatia will visit Malta. Both teams are the only ones that fight for the direct quota and are forced to win to define the absolute leader on the last date, since they will face each other.

While, Romania, North Macedonia and Armenia will fight for the second place in Group J, which gives access to playoffs. This is because Germany has already secured first place and is classified for the World Cup.

Already in South America, Ecuador will receive Venezuela, starting at 4:00 p.m., at the Rodrigo Paz Delgado stadium, with the obligation to win to secure third place in the ranking, where it has 17 points.

Paraguay vs. Chile (18:00), a match that could sentence the aspirations to qualify for the World Cup to the loser, since both are outside the five places that give a quota to go to Qatar in 2022.

At 7:30 p.m., Brazil will host Colombia in search of ensuring their World Cup qualification once and for all. Canarinha is the leader of the qualifier and only needs one point to say present in Qatar; while coffee growers need to score points to stay in fourth place.

The day of Thursday will end Peru vs. Bolivia, match to be played from 21:00. Another match whose winner will continue with aspirations to qualify; while the loser could say goodbye to the World Cup, being away from the positions that give a quota to the appointment.
