However, this is not the end, because journalists report that a lawsuit against Foley was also filed by former employee of the federation Lindsey Nikola. She claims that the trainer forces her to take nude pictures and sexually assaulted her in a hotel room.

Former snowboarders believe that governing bodies have covered up alleged abuses. The matter was repeatedly reported to the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee and the sports federation. “For nearly two decades, the coaches and directors of both organizations have allowed Foley to behave like this, refused to act, and helped cover up his actions, thus allowing him to continue his abuse,” Fletcher continues.

ESPN has contacted the federation and the Olympic Committee but has not received a specific response. “We are aware of the lawsuits filed,” said a spokesman for the former organization.
