German goalkeeper Kevin Trapp has renewed his contract with Eintracht Frankfurt for two more seasons, until June 2026, the club announced this Friday in a statement.
After a first spell at Eintracht Frankfurt (2012-2015), Trapp played three seasons at Paris Saint-Germain before returning to the German team in mid-2018.
The 32-year-old goalkeeper won the Europa League with Eintratch Frankfurt last season and played six games for Germany. Last November, he was with the group at the World Cup in Qatar.
This season, Eintracht Frankfurt is still in contention for the European Champions League and will play the Round of 16 against Napoli. In addition, the team is also in the round of 16 of the German Cup.
In the Bundesliga, it is sixth after 18 rounds, five points behind leaders Bayern Munich.
