The head coach of the Russian national team Valery Karpin described Artem Dzyuba with the word “indifference”
The head coach of the Russian national football team Valery Karpin described striker Artem Dziuba in one word. He is quoted by Sport-Express.
“If I can censor my current attitude towards Dziuba in one word, then it will be the word “indifference,” said Karpin, adding that there was no conflict between them, which the attacker is talking about.
Dzyuba played under the leadership of Karpin in Spartak in the 2011/2012 season. In 2021, the coach did not call the striker to the national team for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. Later, Karpin included the striker in the extended list of the team, but he refused to play due to poor game form.
At the moment, Dzyuba is a free agent. His last club was the Turkish Adana Demirspor, for which the footballer played from August to November 2022. As part of the team, he played five matches in which he scored one goal. The Russian decided to terminate the contract with the team, as he did not receive enough playing time.
