SE: at least four European clubs tried to buy Dynamo player Arsen Zakharyan
At least four European clubs tried to buy Dynamo midfielder and the Russian national team Arsen Zakharyan during the winter transfer window. This became known to “Sport-Express”.
According to the source, we are talking about the Spanish “Mallorca” and “Celta”, as well as the Portuguese “Porto” and the Hungarian “Ferencváros”. All clubs, except for Porto, made official steps to implement the transfer and were ready to pay the Muscovites 15 million euros in compensation, prescribed in the footballer’s contract.
Difficulties arose due to the unwillingness of the teams to pay directly to Dynamo in the current political situation. The parties failed to agree on alternative ways to conclude a deal, as a result, 19-year-old Zakharyan will finish the season in the Moscow club.
Zakharyan has played 16 matches for Dynamo in the Russian Premier League this season. The midfielder scored two goals and made five assists.
