The futsal section of Legia Warszawa is in a very difficult situation. The team from the capital takes the last place with only 11 points and the vision of relegation to the first league is becoming more and more likely. The meeting of the last round is also an unpleasant memory for Warsaw residents. However, there was a moment that shocked everyone gathered that evening in the hall in Gliwice.

Last Sunday (January 29) the 19th round of the top league futsal was completed. In one of the three games played, Legia had to recognize the decisive superiority of Piast, who scored as many as nine goals. After the first part of the game, the scoreboard showed 5:0 for Piast.

In the second half, Legia managed to score a goal of honor. With the six-goal Piast lead, Michał Knajdrowski showed off a phenomenal shot. The player, after a corner kick, gave a great volley shot, after which the ball bounced off the crossbar and fell into the far corner of the goal. “Piast had no mercy for Legia” – we read in the description of the film with Knajdrowski’s hit.

Constract Lubawa (49 points) again became the leader of the league futsal games. The second place is held by the Bielsko-Biała record (48 points). Piast Gliwice is third (39 points). However, Rekord and Piast have one game overdue. Legia is currently losing a point to AZS UŚ Katowice, which is outside the relegation zone. In the next round there will be a direct match between Legia and Katowice AZS. The meeting will take place on Sunday, February 12 at 2 pm in Warsaw.
