Gretzky asked Washington for a plane to see Ovechkin beat his NHL record

Four-time Stanley Cup winner, former Canadian hockey player Wayne Gretzky asked the Washington Capitals for a favor if Russian Alexander Ovechkin beat his record for goals in the National Hockey League (NHL). His words are quoted in Twitter NBC Sports Washington.

Gretzky said he was going to personally see Ovechkin’s record-breaking goal, but for this he asks for personal transport. “If [владелец “Вашингтона”] Mr. Ted Leonsis will give me his plane, then I will fly anywhere, ”he emphasized.
