Dawid Kubacki finished the competition only in 10th place. . It was the Norwegian who triumphed on Kulm. The disposition of the other Poles also left much to be desired – Kamil Stoch took 17th place, and Aleksander Zniszczol 19th. On Sunday, January 29, the second individual ski flying competition will take place in Bad Mitterndorf. It will be preceded by qualifications – their start is scheduled for 12:40. Five Poles will join this session. Apart from Kubacki, ¯y³a, Stoch and Zniszczoł, Jakub Wolny will fight for a place in the main competition.
In the previous qualifiers, the 27-year-old had bad luck and took 41st place, so the first one that does not give promotion. This time, the fans hope that a set of jumpers from Thomas Thurbichler’s team will enter the competition. Almost immediately after qualifying, the first round of Sunday’s competition will take place. Start at 14:15. The upcoming competition will be very important in the context of the overall World Cup standings. For the first time this season, Kubacki has to chase his rivals. His loss to Graneruda is 26 points.
