This Friday, Manchester City defeated Arsenal 1-0 in the FA Cup and eliminated the opponent. The match valid for the fourth round of the competition was held at Eithad Stadium.

First time
The first chance of the game was Tomyasu’s kick on the crossbar, after an individual play by the newly signed Trossard. City’s response came with striker Haaland, who tried to score with a volley, but the defense managed to stop the goal.
The confrontation continued well disputed, with two teams that put a lot of pressure on the opponent’s ball output, as well as trying to leave by touching from the defense. Arsenal’s great offensive weapon was the Belgian Trossard, who was dangerous on the left and forced the opposing goalkeeper to make great saves.
On the home team’s side, who made life hell for the visiting defenders was Erling Haaland. The Norwegian striker had a great chance to open the scoring at the end of the first half, but ended up finishing badly and sending it over the crossbar.

Second time
On the way back from the break, Manchester City were more aggressive in attack and started to risk more. Kevin De Bruyne combined a good move with Mahrez and the Belgian finished strong, but goalkeeper Turner made a great save.
In the 19th minute, Julián Álvarez fired from distance and put the Arsenal goalkeeper to work again. On the rebound, Grealish brought the ball to the bottom line and rolled for Nathan Ake to finish. The defender hit the corner and scored the winning goal.
Behind the scoreboard, coach Mikel Arteta fielded starters such as Zinchenko, Martinelli and Odegaard. Arsenal staged a reaction but produced little to threaten City’s defence.
