Fitness trainer Dmitry Razvarov called crunches an effective exercise for the press
Fitness trainer Dmitry Razvarov named three effective exercises for the press. He told Sport-Express about this.
The specialist advised to do two types of twists. You can start with simpler side twists. To do this, lie on your back, bend one leg at the knee at an angle of 90 degrees, and take the opposite arm slightly to the side. Next, you need to raise the upper body, setting the upward direction with your free hand. In this case, you need to focus on the elbow of the hand laid aside.
A more complex type of twisting, which Razvarov recommends, is performed on a bench. To do this, you need to sit on a bench, grasping it with your hands in front and leaning back a little, and raise your legs. Then it is necessary to pull the legs bent at the knee to the chest, while raising the upper body.
Another exercise that the trainer advises is the climber. To perform it, you need to take a starting position in a lying position. Next, you need to take turns lifting your legs bent at the knee towards opposite shoulders.
Each task is performed for 30 seconds with breaks of 60-90 seconds. Razvarov notes that it is enough to perform three to five repetitions of exercises.
Earlier, fitness trainer Cecilia Harris said that seven-minute workouts are more effective than long-term work in the gym. She explained that short high-intensity sessions help to suppress hunger, as opposed to hour-long workouts, which cause it to spike.
