Rostov player Golenkov said that his grandmother could not get to the match because of Fan ID
Rostov striker Yegor Golenkov spoke about his attitude to the entry into force of the law on the Fan ID (Fan ID). It is reported by “Championship”.
According to him, it negatively affects the attendance of matches. As an example, a football player cited his disabled grandmother, who moves in a wheelchair. Golenkov said that a relative could not get to the game of the Russian Premier League (RPL) when his club met on the road with the Samara Wings of the Soviets, due to the need to issue a Fan ID.
“You have to stand in line at the MFC or at the stadium. Yes, you can get a document before the match, but special booths are located on the street, and the match was in November, the temperature is below zero. It turns out that because of some piece of paper, my grandmother could not see me on the field, ”said Golenkov.
Forward is a native of Samara. This season, 23-year-old Golenkov played 17 matches in the RPL, in which he did not score with effective actions.
The State Duma adopted the law on Fan ID in December 2021. To enter the stands for RPL matches, each fan must have a personalized spectator card, which cannot be issued remotely.
