The Slovak began his career in 2011 and accumulates 121 wins till the date. From 2015 to 2017, he won the rainbow jersey for world champion three times in a row. and also celebrated victories in the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix. From 2017 to 2021, Sagan was under contract with the German team Bora-hansgrohe.
