A group of ultras from Atletico Madrid Last night, they hung a doll of Vinícius Júnior on a bridge near the Real Madrid CT, simulating hanging. Above, a banner was placed with the phrase “Madrid hates Real”, a motto of extremist fans.
The episode took place on the eve of the derby between the two teams for the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey. Real Madrid and Atlético face each other this Thursday, at 5 pm (Brasília time), at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Atlético de Madrid released a note this morning condemning the act of racism carried out by their fans and, later, La Liga also released a statement.
“These acts are absolutely disgusting and unacceptable and shame society. Our condemnation of any act that attacks the dignity of people or institutions is roundabout and without palliative measures. The rivalry between both clubs is maximum, but so is respect. No individual, whatever their intention or their colors, can tarnish the coexistence between different supporters. It is everyone’s responsibility to avoid. We do not know the author of this despicable act, but his anonymity does not avoid his responsibility. We hope that the authorities can clarify what happened and that justice helps to bury this type of behavior ”, wrote Atlético.
“We vehemently condemn acts of hatred against Vinícius Júnior. Intolerance and violence do not fit in football. As on previous occasions, we will investigate the facts in search of the conviction of those responsible, requesting the most severe criminal sanctions”, recorded La Liga.
Once again Vini Jr. is the target of threats. In the last classic between the teams, in September last year, Atletico Madrid fans chant racist chants against the player. In a video published on social media, part of the crowd was caught calling Vini a “monkey”.
Previously, the Brazilian had already been criticized by the Spanish agent Pedro Bravo, who called the way the player acts after swinging the net “monkey”.
