Russian goalkeeper Nikita Khaikin signed a contract with the English football club Bristol City. This was reported on the team’s website.
The agreement will be valid until the end of this season. The Russian joined Bristol as a free agent. The financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
In addition to Russian, Khaikin has British and Israeli citizenship. The last club of the 27-year-old goalkeeper was the Norwegian Bodé-Glimt. He also played in Israel for Bnei Yehuda and Hapoel Kfar Sava.
Khaikin played for the youth teams of Russia of different ages, as well as for the youth team. Valery Karpin called the goalkeeper to the national team of the country, but he has not yet made his debut for it.
