Emelec saves a tie in a friendly with Mitre, from the second division of Argentina

Emelec saved the tie in his second friendly of the soccer preseason that he carried out in Argentina against Miter thanks to a goal by Bryan Carabalí on the horn (minute 84), with a shot from outside the area.

At the Doctores José and Antonio Castiglione stadium in the city of Santiago del Estero, Miter took the lead on the scoreboard after 63 minutes with a collective action that surpassed without mitigation the containment of the blues in the center of the field. The play was directed towards the left flank and after a series of crossed passes Brian Mieres pushed the ball into the back of the net.

The Ecuadorian team led by the Argentine Miguel Rondelli lined up its best troops and five of its new entry reinforcements. It started with Pedro Ortiz, Romario Caicedo, Aníbal Leguizamón, Bleiner Agron, Jackson Rodríguez, Carlos Villalba, Joseph Espinoza, José Alberti, Samuel Sosa, Miller Bolaños and Brayan Angulo.

With six minutes remaining in the match, Emelec tied it with a shot from Bryan Carabalí, who had entered the substitution nine minutes earlier.

The Bombillo still has a friendly against Racing de Córdoba, scheduled for Friday, before returning to Ecuador on Sunday, January 29.

Rondelli’s men have agreed another friendly game in Guayaquil to pick up the pace before debuting in the 2023 LigaPro Serie A on Sunday, February 26, in a duel with Libertad FC from Loja, which is making its debut in the Ecuadorian first division.

With this second match, after the training matches they played against Instituto de Córdoba, the balance of the preseason in Argentina for Bombillo is a win and a draw.
