16-year-old Weronika Ewald advanced to the quarter-finals. In the 1/8 finals, she competed with seeded No. 11 Ena Koike from Japan. In the first set, our tennis player broke her opponent twice, which gave her a 6:2 victory. In the second set, the Japanese took control of the court, who won 6-1 with two breaks.
