Raków’s football player hit the presidential candidate. “I’m very ashamed”

Presidential elections are currently taking place in the Czech Republic. Only two candidates have a chance to win – Petr Pavel and Andrej Babisz. In recent days, the latter has made a controversial statement that may affect the results of the vote. Babisz announced that if Russian troops attacked Poland or one of the Baltic countries, he would not help his neighbors in the fight against a hostile power. The declaration did not appeal to one of the players of the Polish Ekstraklasa.

The captain of Rakowa Częstochowa, and at the same time a Czech citizen, Tomas Petrasek, did not fail to respond to the politician’s words. The 30-year-old feels ashamed of what his country’s presidential candidate said. He also decided to identify the ideal contender for the position.

– Poland is my second home. I am very ashamed of what he said. But rest assured, we will have a president who knows very well what to do when someone attacks a close friend, a member of NATO. This is a man who will not be ashamed, that is Petr Pavel,” he wrote on Twitter.

Tomas Petrasek has been a Raków football player for almost 7 years. In July 2016, the defender moved from Viktoria Zizkov to Częstochowa and started his climb to the top from the second league level.
